East Carolina Football Season Recap Video for Instagram and X
I created this East Carolina football season recap video for socials. I went into the season with ideas of how I wanted the final video to come together and I planned out every shot week by week. I shot all the footage myself, handled all the editing, chose the music and worked on the sound design to match the energy of the season. I used Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro to add some extra visual flare and give it a more polished, cinematic feel. I think this a strong example of my work because it shows both creativity and ability to plan shots in advance with everything coming together in the end.
East Carolina Men’s Basketball Offseason Video for Instagram
This video shows a preseason hype reel that I shot with East Carolina Men's Basketball. I handled everything from filming to editing. Going into it, I really wanted to capture the repetition and grind of the off-season, while still keeping an upbeat tempo. I wanted to make sure that it did not come off as too serious or too dull. I also tried to show the often unseen hard work and dedication that the players put into the sport as well as the energy between the players so it felt like a group that enjoys being around each other. I mixed in different angles and changed the ISO to keep it vibrant and colorful. I really wanted to get that early morning/summer sunlight feel. I also used Adobe After Effects and some Final Cut Pro to edit this. I think that this video stands out because it shows my ability to tell the story of the team’s culture and camaraderie.
Playoff Clinching Game Video for Instagram, X, and Facebook
During my summer internship with Lionsbridge FC, I created this video to build momentum heading into a playoff-clinching game. I wanted the video to feel intense and emotional so it could really pull people in and get fans excited to show up. When putting it together, I focused on some shots around the city of Newport News, Virginia, and I also pulled in audio from locker room speeches to make it feel more real and connected to the team. I did the filming, audio, planning and posting to the socials. I used Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Final Cut pro to complete this project. I really like this piece because it's one where I tried to incorporate the vibe of the city and how important fan support is in this moment.
Food Lion Feeds Video for Instagram, X, Youtube, and Facebook
This video was also created during my internship with Lionsbridge FC and focused on a community initiative with Food Lion. The goal was to highlight players giving back to the community while also showcasing who these players are off the field. This was a corporate partnership with Food Lion and the content had to go through an approval process so it was not all me. While I collaborated with Food Lion, I still had a role in shaping the final product especially through music selection and helping guide the overall vibe so it felt genuine and uplifting. I think this piece stands out because it shows I can work within a more structured, professional setting while still contributing creatively and helping tell a meaningful story that connects the team to the community.
While working for SEQL (now known as Fastbreak AI), as a videographer, I followed Division I prospect Davin Cosby who went on to play at University of Alabama and Wake Forest University. This video shows a behind the scenes look at the offseason, similar to the ECU basketball video, but more mellow. I handled the full process on this one as well, including filming, music selection, and using Premiere Pro for editing. I wanted this one to feel a little more laid back, so I focused on capturing the small details and quieter moments that people do not always notice. During editing, I let the clips sit a little longer and made sure everything flowed naturally with the music. I think this piece stands out because it shows I can switch up my style and create something that feels more down to earth and intentional, while still holding the viewer’s attention.
